Two new HP EVA models, the HP EVA P6350 and HP EVA P6550. The new models have twice the cache memory of the HP EVA P6300 and HP P6500, with 8GB of cache for the EVA P6350 and 16GB of cache for the EVA P6550. The new models also have new longer life cache batteries and a new faster 667 MHz ABM (Array Based Management module) for up to 20% improved Command View performance for management functions. The new EVA P6350/P6550 models also meet the new RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive) requirements that take effect on 1 January 2012. The EVA P6300/P6500 do not meet the new RoHS requirements.
New EVA XCS firmware 110010000, or later, provides support for the new HP EVA P6350 and HP EVA P6550 models, as well as the HP EVA P6300, HP EVA P6500, HP EVA4400, HP EVA6400, and HP EVA8400.
New HP P6000 Command View v10.1, which supports the new HP P6350 and HP EVA P6550 models and all previous EVA models except the EVA3000 and EVA5000.

Increased storage addressability for the EVA P6350 and EVA P6550 with the new larger cache and new XCS 11001000 firmware - from 300TB for the EVA P6300 to 800TB for the EVA P6350; from 800TB for the EVA P6500 to 1.2PB for the EVA P6550.
